INDUSTRY CERTIFICATIONS

Students graduating from high school today need more than a diploma to be successful in today’s competitive job market. The Reading Muhlenberg Career and Technology Center is teaching the skills, knowledge, and attitude necessary to obtain employment in competitive fields.

We are currently in the process of aligning our programs with industry-recognized certification to ensure our students will be prepared and noticed when applying for positions. Existing certifications are offered through:

State Board of Cosmetology
National Center for Construction and Education Research (NCCER)
Vinyl Siding Institute (VSI)
NATCEP
OSHA 10-hour training
Corian Installation
PA Automotive Inspection
PA Emissions Inspection
ServSafe - Food Sanitation
AWS - WTTI - Welding Cetification 

We are planning to implement many more program certifications during the next three years. Look for updates to help your child obtain certifications in a chosen area of study.
