AUTO BODY REPAIR
Today’s auto body technicians must be trained in the various aspects of the construction and repair of the modern automobile body and framework. Automobile production uses materials and manufacturing techniques that demand that the auto body repair technician be competent in metalworking, welding, uni-body construction, surface preparation, spray painting, and accurate repair estimating. The ABR program prepares its graduates for these tasks. Learning is reinforced by continuous applications of auto body repair classroom lessons to the actual repair of automobiles, vans, and light trucks. The students use safe and modern repair equipment in all phases of their training.
