ELECTRONICS & COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY

This exciting and highly individualized course is designed to prepare students to become electronic technicians and to prepare them to further their education after graduation. Students learn to use electronic test equipment, soldering/de-soldering techniques, basic electricity and electronic circuitry, digital electronics, microprocessor repair and industrial robotics technology. Trainers and CAI (Computer-Aided Instruction) will be used for "hands-on" experience and to develop troubleshooting skills. Many students elect to continue their education and earn advanced placement at many post-secondary schools and colleges. This program has a dual enrollement agreement with Reading Area Community College. Students interested in electrical/electronic engineering will benefit from the training received in this program.
