Business, Marketing & DISTRIBUTION
This program provides instruction in the field of marketing and distribution. It is a study of all the activities and concepts concerned with the flow of industrial and consumer goods in channels of trade and the provision of services to consumers or users. This program is concerned with marketing, sales, distribution, merchandising, management, and ownership of a business. This course prepares individuals to perform marketing functions such as: selling, buying, pricing, advertising, storing, and marketing management. In addition, this program includes emphasis on technical knowledge of products and services; related communication and computation skills; and abilities and attitudes associated with human relations in private enterprise. The program prepares individuals for occupations in such businesses as retail and wholesale trade, hospitality/financial services, distribution and marketing.
