UPHOLSTERY
This program is by far one of the most unique educational courses taught in Pennsylvania. We are one of the few high schools in the nation teaching this novel and specialized craft. It is an excellent trade for a person who desires to start a small business and never run out of work. Whether it’s re-upholstering furniture or a car’s interior, the upholsterer’s skills are required. Students in the upholstery course acquire the necessary skills, knowledge and work ethics required of the trade. From safe use of basic hand tools to estimating the costs of materials and labor, the students will enjoy an educational environment of "hands-on" projects and meaningful work. There is always a need for skilled artisans who are capable of restoring quality home furnishings.
