FFA is an association of agriculture students dedicated to making a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth, and career success through agricultural education.

Any student enrolled in the horticulture shop is eligible for membership in FFA. Students have the opportunity to compete at district, state, and national levels. Our motto is: Learning to Do, Doing to Learn, Earning to Live, Living to Serve.

  • State officer visits to promote leadership skills
  • District competition
  • State competition at Penn State Main Campus
  • National competition

Our chapter has earned several certificates and plaques for the many community service projects we have completed.

The horticulture program is built on the three core areas of classroom/laboratory instruction, supervised agricultural experience programs, and FFA student organization activities/opportunities.

FFA colors are navy and gold.

It is the policy of RMCTC not to discriminate on the basis of gender, disability, race, color, and national origin
in its educational and vocational programs, activities, or employment as required by Title IX, Section 504 and Title VI.
