Administrative Assistant for Attendance
Full-time (190 days), Health Benefits, State Pension (PSERS)
The Administrative Assistant for Attendance shall be responsible for coordinating and maintaining records of student attendance. He/She will be responsible for communicating directly with students, sponsoring district personnel, and parents/guardians of students regarding attendance issues.
Specific Qualifications:
• Possess High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum of three (3) years of secretarial experience or an Associate’s Degree in an Administrative Assistant program
• Accurate record keeping and organizational skills
• Windows file management skills required
• Microsoft Office software skills required
• Good interpersonal skills
• Excellent verbal/written communications
• Ability to multi task essential
• Bilingual language skills (English/Spanish) desired, but not required
General Requirements:
• Eligibility to obtain PDE-related Act 34, Act 151, and FBI clearances
• Must pass a physical and drug screen test

Instructional Assistant – Culinary Arts
The Instructional Assistant supports the learning process of the students by assisting the program teacher during classroom instruction and hands-on activities.
Specific Requirements:
• High School Diploma is required
• Post-Secondary Culinary degree/diploma preferred
General Requirements:
• F/T; 185-day working contract congruent with the school year
• Must be energetic, patient, organized, and work well with teenagers
• Good human relations and written/verbal communication skills
• Bilingual language skills (English/Spanish) preferred
• Computer skills helpful
• Must be eligible to obtain Act 34, Act 151, and FBI clearances
• Pass a physical and drug screen test

Full-time (187 Days); Family Benefits; State Pension (PSERS)
An instructional program that prepares individuals in production and service used in governmental, commercial or independently owned institutional food establishments and related food industry occupations. Includes Instruction in selecting, storing, preparing and serving food and food products; basic nutrition; sanitation, and food safety; the use and care of commercial equipment; serving techniques; and the operation of institutional food establishments.
REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum of 4 years’ Full-time, paid experience in the Hospitality and Commercial Foods industry including:
- Purchasing, Receiving, and Storage
- Garde Manger (Cold Food Preparation)
- Knife Skills
- Food Service Tools & Equipment
- Standardized Recipes and Measurement, Nutrition and Menu Planning
- Breakfast Foods, Vegetables and Fruit, Pasta, Grains, Legumes and Potatoes
- Stocks, Soups, and Sauces
- Meat, Poultry, and Seafood
- Baking and Pastry Skills
- Back of house and Front of House Operations
• Family & Consumer Sciences Instructional teaching certification with the ability to add the Quantity Foods 2059 Occupational Competency Assessment is permissible in lieu of the 4-year work requirement.
• Good human relations and written/verbal communication skills required.
• Ability to relate well with young people in a supportive role.
• Working knowledge of computer applications.
• Eligible to obtain PDE-related Act 34, Act 151 and FBI clearances.
• Must pass a physical and drug test.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION
• Prior teaching and/or supervisory experience preferred, but not required.
• Ability to communicate in English and Spanish
