The Reading Muhlenberg Career & Technology Center has vacancies for the following positions:
Administrative Assistant to Student Services
Full-time, Health Benefits, Vacation, State Pension (PSERS)
To provide secretarial and support service to personnel located within the Student Services Office for the purpose of encouraging student achievement.
Licenses/Certifications: Microsoft Office Specialist Certification in Core areas preferred.
Specific Qualifications:
• Possess High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum of three (3) years of secretarial experience or an Associate’s Degree in an Administrative Assistant program
• Accurate record keeping and organizational skills
• Keyboarding at 60+ WPM required
• Windows file management skills required
• Microsoft Office software skills required
• Good interpersonal skills
• Excellent verbal/written communications
• Ability to multi task essential
• Bilingual language skills (English/Spanish) desired, but not required
General Requirements:
• Eligibility to obtain PDE-related Act 34, Act 151, and FBI clearances
• Must pass a physical and drug screen test

Supervisor of Career and Technical Education
The Reading Muhlenberg Career & Technology Center is seeking candidates for a Supervisor of Career and Technical Education. The successful candidate must assist the Administrative Director in the supervision of the day-to-day educational program of the school, it’s students, and instructional staff. The Supervisor of CTE will be responsible for establishing positive relationships with students via formal and informal behavioral counseling; facilitating the schools disciplinary policy when required; will significantly and positively impact school culture by being a strong role model for students; will support the goals and educational programs of the school; will be a resource for maintaining a safe school environment.
Education/Experience:
Minimum of five (5) years teaching experience, preferably in career and technical education.
Strong verbal/written communication skills.
Strong Computer skills required.
Bilingual language skills (English/Spanish) desired, but not required
Certification: Supervisor of CTE, Principal Certification, or Vocational Director Certification required.
Salary: Negotiable and based upon experience.

SUBSTITUTE TEACHERS
Specific Requirements:
Substitute teachers needed for all 31 program areas supported by the Center. Ideal candidates may be certified secondary education teachers, retired CTE teachers and classroom aides, or individuals with extensive work experience who can demonstrate the capacity to support student skill attainment within the Center’s programs (see our website for program listing).
General Requirements:
