CAREER & TECHNICAL STUDENT ORGANIZATIONS
Skill Development, Leadership, Community Service, and Teamwork
All students enrolled in Reading Muhlenberg Career and Technology Center have the opportunity to participate in at least one Career and Technical Student Organization (CTSO) while enrolled at the CTC. Students who become members in these co-curricular organizations have the opportunity to participate in team building, leadership, social events, and community service, such as the Heritage Festival.
Students also have the opportunity to attend skill competitions where the skills they have learned are “put to the test” against other competitors. These competitions include testing of knowledge and hands-on skills in a variety of trade and leadership events. Students who are fortunate enough to win their events at a district or state competition are able to compete at the national level and travel to locations such as Louisville, KY, Kansas City, MO, San Diego, CA, Orlando, FL, or Cleveland, OH.
